Yaksta And His Band ‘Skalawagz’ Set To Perform Live At Woodstock, Negril

Reggae/Dancehall artiste Yaksta is set to perform live with his band ‘Skalawagz’ at Woodstock Negril on May 21, 2022.

Tickets are currently available for purchase pre-sold for $1500 regular and $3000 VIP, while gate tickets can be purchased for $2500 regular and $4000 VIP.

Gates to the event will open at 6 p.m.

Kemaul M. Martin, more professionally known as Yaksta is a young, fast-rising Dancehall/Reggae artiste who comes from the parish of St. Mary. He first gain popularity for his two hit singles in 2020 called ‘Ambition’ and ‘Human’.

Yaksta’s music career sky-rocketed since then and has made a name for himself by gaining global recognition for his positive and empowering lyrics. Some tracks that highlight the undeniable talent of this young artiste are: ‘Assets (Fowl Coop)’, ‘Free My People’ and ‘Hype and Bruk’ amongst many others.

Earlier this year, the St. Mary born artiste was recognized by Prime Minister Andrew Holness while in Parliament as being an artiste who inspires him. He mentioned that Yaksta is promoting a positive influence on Jamaican music and also cited the words to his hit single ‘Ambition.

Currently being managed by record labels WussMuzikk in the US and Runabeat Music in the UK, Yaksta’s creative versatility is sure to keep him in the music scene for years to come.
