Yellowman Celebrates His 65th Birthday

King Yellowman celebrated his 65th birthday yesterday, January 15th and the Reggae and Dancehall community are grateful for the Jamaican icon accomplishment.
Yellowman became famous as a Reggae Dancehall DJ when he made many hit songs such as ‘Zyggu-zung-gugu-zungu-zeng” which got sampled a number of times by other artistes.
He also sang ‘I’m getting married in the morning’ and many other hit songs.
Even though he was diagnosed with skin cancer in 1982, and got treatment. Doctors didn’t believe he would live more than 3 years after, but he proved them wrong and continues living.
The famous hit maker is an Albino and he was teased in his early years when he lived at a Catholic orphanage in Kingston Jamaica.
Yellowman’s given name is Winston Foster and he got married in 1985 to Rosie Foster and had a daughter, Kareema, she is also an artiste.
King Yellow as he was called by his many fans, was the undisputed King of the Dancehall at one point in his career.
Yellow man was born on January 15th, 1956.’
