Arguably the best Reggae song in recent times, ‘Praise Jah in the Moonlight’ by YG Marley, the grandson of Reggae legend Bob Marley on Tuesday marked another milestone after its release back in December of 2023.

The song now sits at #94 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart after falling several spots from a better placement on the chart last week. The song peaked at #34 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

The music video for ‘Praise Jah in the Moonlight’ was released on April 20th, and it has racked up over four million views collectively in nine days. On the other hand, the song, released on YouTube on December 25h, 2023 has racked up over four million views on the platform.

Beyond its commercial success, ‘Praise Jah in the Moonlight’ embodies the timeless spirit of Reggae Music, carrying forward the legacy of Bob Marley and his message of love, unity, and social justice.

YG Marley who is currently 22 years old birth name is Joshua Omaru Marley. Addressing the support he has been getting for the song on the heels of performing at Coachella, last week, in a social media post, YG Marley wrote, “I really appreciate every single one of you thank you I love you.”

On the other hand, in late March, DJ Khaled took to Instagram to share a vibrant studio session with himself, YG Marley, Rohan Marley, and several other associates, all deeply immersed in the rhythm and lyrics of a new track that’s apparently in the works. The video has left fans anticipating a Dj Khaled produced song by YG Marley.
