Yohan Blake Returns With More Words For Critics Who Are “eager to share the gossip” Like Wildfire

Jamaican sprinter Yohan Blake seemingly is not about to make the many critics of his discourage him from continuing his track and field journey. On Tuesday, the second fastest man in history shared new images from a training session along with some motivational words.

Over the past 48 hours, Blake has been active on social media, sharing scenes from his training indoors and outdoors. Along with his training video, he has been replying and reacting to the naysayers who believe he should retire.

His latest posts are story posts, on his Instagram, showing outdoor training sessions, one of which shows him with an associate, the caption reads, “Nothing is more important than empathy for another human being’s suffering. Nothing, Not career, not wealth, not intelligence, certainly not status.”

He continued, “We have to feel for one another if we’re going to survive with dignity.”

Another post made by Blakes had the caption, “No one will ever know how hard its been for you and how much you have endured. So never allow anyone to bring you down, because you are stronger than they will ever realize.”

He also shared a video on his page of himself training indoors with another message attached, the audio on the video states, “When people hear good things about you they often stay silent, keeping it to themselves, but when they hear bad things about you they spread it like wildfire, eager to share the gossip.”

In his recent viral interview, Blake stated, “I’m still spinning.. i know what is causing my problem and i’m not afraid.”
