12yo Girl’s Body Found, Grandmother Still Missing

As reported earlier, a 12-year-old girl and her 68-year-old grandmother were both swept away in floodwaters in Montego Bay.
The latest update on the incident is that the 12-year-old girl whose name is Jenell Walters’ body was found Tuesday evening, her body was taken by undertakers to the morgue.

Still missing is her grandmother, Beryl Walters, both were washed away near Westgate in Montego Bay.
Reports are that a family of four from Rose Heights in the parish were travelling in a vehicle when the flood washed the car away.
A 71-year-old male who is the husband of Beryl Walters and his 25-year-old daughter were rescued by individuals who saw them holding on to bushes in the violent water.
The incident is said to have taken place at Barnett River.
The Sudden Flood in Montego Bay resulted from the heavy rainfall over the past 48 hours in the parish and nearby areas.
