13 Guns Seized in Trelawny, One Man Fatally Shot
The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) seized a number of heavy-duty firearms today, February 3, 2022 in Florence Hall, Trelawny.
The JCF reported that members of the 2 Fugitive Apprehension Team assisted by members of the Trelawny division seized 10 rifles, 2 sub-machine guns and a pistol at approximately 11:30 a.m, one man was fatally shot during the incident.
This seizure by the JCF is a result of ongoing operations in targeting guns, gangs and gunmen island-wide.
Police officers and a team from the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) are on the scene as investigations are ongoing.
