13yo Killed By Uncle In Clarendon Sunday Morning
A thirtheen-year-old male student of Kellits High School was fatally stabbed minutes after 9 AM on Sunday according to police reports.
The victim has been identified as Omarion Haniford and he was reportedly attacked by his 22-year-old uncle who is said to be of unsound mind.
The police were called to the scene shortly after the attack, the police detailed that Haniford was found with several stab wounds, he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The incident took place in the Morant Housing Scheme in Clarendon.
The uncle is currently in police custody at the Crofts Hill Police Station.
A reason for the attack was not reported.
Unfortunately, this is the third student to be killed on the island since last Monday.
