The police have arrested and charged two teenage boys who were accused of raping a 15-year-old girl behind a church in St. Thomas.
Following a questioning session, a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy were arrested and officially charged with sexually assaulting the girl on New Year’s Day.
A report disclosed that their court date is currently in the process of being scheduled.
According to said report, the incident occurred after the teenage girl was dragged behind a church located in Ramble, Yallahs, at around 8:30 p.m. by two boys.
The boys subsequently forcibly had sexual intercourse with the victim. After the victim escaped, she reported the sexual assault to the police, per reports.
