268 Firearms Seized In Jamaica Since 2022
The Jamaica Constabulary Force has reported via their Twitter account that in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, so far they have made a seizure of 268 firearms as well as over 5,500 rounds of ammunition.
This number according to the JCF is significant of a 6 per cent increase in those operations with an additional 30 per cent increase in the seizure of rifles in comparison to the same period in the year 2021.
As it relates to the seizure of pistols, the JCF has also reported that there has been a 6 per cent increase which sets the team of law enforcers on the correct path to achieving tenacity, trust and transformation as expressed by the Commissioner of Police earlier this year.
