2YO Boy’s Death in Clarendon Leads to More Questions Than Answers

The death of a toddler in Clarendon has prompted a police investigation into the matter. The child, identified as two-year-old Gashawn Duncan from Longbough district in the parish, passed away shortly after being rushed to the Percy Junor Hospital.
Reports indicate that Gashawn was playing with his two-year-old cousin at their home in Longbough district on Sunday afternoon. At some point after 2 o’clock, their grandmother, concerned after hearing cries, went to check on the children.
To her horror, she found Gashawn lying face down in an unconscious state. Despite being swiftly transported to the hospital, Gashawn did not regain consciousness.
Investigators have begun probing the circumstances surrounding the incident. Initial examinations revealed no signs of violence on the child’s body.
