3 Killed During Drive-By Shooting in New Lincoln, Cross Roads
A drive-by shooting took place at around 7 PM on Friday, October 28 in New Lincoln leaving three men dead.
The triple murder took place in the corporate area close to Cross Roads at a cook shop. According to reports from the police personnel of the Major Investigations Division, the three men were at a cook shop buying food along with other residents when armed men suddenly descended upon the group in a Mazda automobile and opened fire before driving away. The men were hit.
Now deceased are 38-year-old Barrington Phillips, 41-year-old Donville Charlton, and 55-year-old Randolph McBean. While Charlton and McBean both hail from Lincoln Crescent, Phillips is said to be a contractor from Berwick Road, Kingston 13.
In the aftermath of the incident, the police were contacted, and the men were taken to the hospital. Charlton, McBean and Phillips died while the other individual who was shot got admitted for treatment.
Members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) are investigating the matter.
