4-Y-O Child Dies After Grandmother Forces Her To Drink Bottle Of Whiskey
A 4-year-old child, China Record from Louisianna, USA died from alcohol poisoning on Thursday, April 21, after her grandmother allegedly forced her to consume a bottle of whiskey while the child’s mother watched.
According to police reports, the child’s blood-alcohol level was .680 when officers arrived at the family’s home the morning of the incident. The deceased child’s blood-alcohol level was more than eight times the legal limit for people aged over 21 to drive, which is .08.
Based on booking documents, the child’s grandmother, Roxanne Record, aged 53, and the child’s mother, Kadjah Record, age 29 were both furious that the child took a sip from a bottle of whiskey. This led the grandmother to force her to drink the remainder on her knees.
Both persons were subsequently arrested the following day and charged with first-degree murder.
