46yo Man Wanted For Fatal Shooting of 16yo Girl

As reported by the Jamaica Observer, a 46-year-old man name Glenford Henry is currently on the run after he fatally shot a teenager and also shot and injured a 26-year-old woman in Kingston. According to the police, a manhunt has been launched for Henry who was recently deported to the island.

The deceased has been identified as 16-year-old Sorika ‘Surry’ Picart, an Alpha Academy student.

The police stated that the suspect carried out the shootings at about 5:50 pm at an address on Lincoln Road in Kingston 5. Sources also revealed that Sorika is a family member of the suspect.

The shootings took place on Saturday. The police are currently investigating the matter.
