55-Year-Old Man Caught With Over 100 Million Worth of Cocaine In St. James

55-year-old Rohan Oliver Cummings, a businessman from the addresses Berkshire district in Westmoreland and Ducketts Road in Cambridge, St James was arrested and charged with breaches of the Dangerous Drug Act.
Reports are that Cummings was stopped by members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) along the Long Hill main road in the parish of St.James at approximately 3 p.m. last week. Upon inspection of the grey Toyota Hiace bus that he was driving, 17kg of cocaine that has an estimated street value of $850,000 USD or 130,106,865.00 JMD was discovered.
He was subsequently arrested on Monday by detectives from the Narcotics Division and was charged with the possession of, dealing in, trafficking and conspiracy to traffic cocaine after an interview was conducted in the presence of his lawyer on Friday.
Rohan Oliver Cummings will be appearing in the St. James Parish Court on Wednesday for sentencing.
