The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is once again tweeting about their recent success in their fight to curtail the crime plague in Jamaica. According to their Twitter feed, seven persons have been arrested and lottery scam paraphrenia was seized at a property in Hartlands Estate in Priory, St. Ann today.
The police have since issued a stark warning to those who continue to upset the status quo, tweeting “The police are making it clear that criminals who are hiding in gated communities WILL be apprehended as they continue to target guns, gangs, and gunmen.”
The stern warning comes on the heels of last week’s seizure of thirteen illegal guns in a gated community in Florence Hall, Trelawny.
Many Twitter users have been pouring in commendations for the police and encouraging them to continue their tenacious fight in crippling crime in the country.
The arrests were made during a joint police/military operation in the area.
