95YO Man Killed in House Fire in St. Ann
A ninety-five-year-old man, identified as Solomon Campbell, was killed following a house fire at his residence on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

Campbell, otherwise known as ‘Pappy’, lived in the community of Middle Buxton, St. Ann, and fell victim to the fire that ensued at around 7:30 PM. It is unknown what started the blaze.
According to TVJ (Television Jamaica) News, residents saw the blaze and alerted the proper authorities.
The firefighters who responded were unable to rescue Campbell due to how much the fire raged and were only able to enter the house after the fire cooled down.
Campbell’s charred body was discovered in the ashes of the burnt house.
