Tekashi 6ix9ine claims the Top 100 Charts on Billboard is being Manipulated
The Brooklyn rapper took to his Instagram on Friday to talk about his opinion on how the hot 100 charts on Billboard are being manipulated. He stated clearly that there were playing their favorites.
He presented the forecast sent to the major record labels showing Doja Cat’s “Say So” at No. 1, and his latest single “Gooba” follows, while The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” sits on No 3, Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé’s “Savage” was at No. 4, and Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber’s “Stuck With U” rounded out the top five. He proceeded to show another email last Sunday night showing “Stuck with you:” had 60,000 entries submission out of nowhere and made its way to No 1.
Out of nowhere, Grande and Bieber went from No 5 to No 1. He also pointed out the tweet sent out by billboard on Thursday night showing signed copied of stuck with you singles.
6ix9ine is disappointed not because of himself only but because of other rappers and artistes across the globe. He has also called the public to study the chart closely and relate to why artists will use tactics to gain an edge.
In one of the tweets he later deleted, he talked about his love for Billboard and the support, but he will hate to believe people are manipulating charts.
He has also promised that if his song Gooba get purchased on iTunes, he will drop another hit soon. He later posted a poll on his Instagram where he asked if he should tell his fans about other rappers that snitched.
