Vybz Kartel Puts out the release date, artwork, and Guestlist for his upcoming Album, Of Dons & Divas.

The incarcerated Dancehall deejay Vybz Kartel made an announcement about his upcoming album “Of Dons and Divas” earlier in 2020, and it looks as though things are shaping up nicely to meet the month it was previously promised to be released.

In the last two weeks Vybz Kartel offloaded more information about the album, he revealed a brand new collaboration between himself, Tommy Lee Sparta, Skillibeng and the female rapper Jucee Froot.

He set Friday, June 26, 2020, to be the date that fans can get the 16 track work of art.

Kartel also revealed the cover art for the album, but he took the word teaser to a new level as he only unveiled half of the design. “Half now half later?” he questioned before he dropped a thinking face emoji on the post. He also tagged a number of Jamaica’s top producers, disc jockeys, and his fellow colleagues on the post as well. The cover art seems to showcase an airbrush finish layered over an image of Vybz Kartel, an image of the bust of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, and a skimpily glad model with Divaz written above.

However, some fans were not pleased with the move to provide half of the cover art only. “Mi cravin mi nuh like nothing half,” one person said in the comment section and another asked, “Then why yuh affi do this? Nuh like nuh half a nothing eno gimmi weh me fi get mon “Everything.”

Even in Canada the fan love was evident, as one person there is clearly waiting to see what the Worl Boss has up his sleeves, and commented “Me a pree from Canada.” While another person tagged the new project as the “Album Of The Decade,” and used only the superstar collaborations and song titles to justify this bold claim.

  Judging from the sheer excitement of fans, Of Dons & Divas seems poised to outsell the January effort To Tanesha.

The news came when it was revealed that Vybz Kartel’s 15-year-old son Likkle Addi is gearing up to welcome a baby recently. Kartel silenced the critics to the incident when he posted an image of the very pregnant 18-year-old and his son, as they posed for photos the day when the now controversial baby shower took place.

With all the family woes that are going on, the Worl’boss and his team still found time to release new content, they recently dropped a new video for the Romeich Entertainment produced “Thickiana.”

Artistes on the guest list for the project includes Spice, Lisa Mercedez, Sikka Rymes, Lisa Hyper, Squash, Teejay, Daddy1, and others.
