Skillibeng Pays Respect To Vybz Kartel And Collab With Young M.A
Skillibeng has found himself once more being featured on the Internationally known Jamaican Entertainment show onstage after being first featured because of his breakout single “Brik pon Brik”.
Being interviewed by Winford Williams Skillibeng was asked questions about his career and where he is currently at.
In a question about his style of deejaying, Winford Williams asked the young artist if he thinks his style is well distinguished which Skillibeng answered by letting Winford know that he created the style which took time and effort and by that work the fans gravitated to the sound as they appreciate the difference.
In speaking about his trailblazing presence in the dancehall space since his last time on the program Skillibeng noted that he has been letting his fans know most of his plans where recording good songs are concerned.
The young artist also said that he often gives his fans surprises which they like and all that is working for him and building his career.
He was also asked about him not being able to perform because of the Covid-19 pandemic which he said that he counteracts by way of social media and fan interaction.
He made it clear that the presence he generates online increases his demand as more and more members of the music industry are reaching out to him.
Skillibeng made it clear that artists such as Vybz Kartel have reached out to him and he is giving the veteran credit for the work he had put in over the years.
Skillibeng also stated that he currently has a song out with Jada Kingdom as well as he hinted at an international collaboration with American rapper Young M.A which he says was organized by claims record.
Skillibeng also stated that he has a collab with Jahvillani which may be released anytime soon.
In response to a question about performing at Sumfest Skillibeng said for this year since his career was fresh he wanted to perform live for his fans and not virtually as the latter option would not have allowed him to interact with his listeners.
Winford Williams also went ahead to ask him about his friend Rytikal who fans have been describing as sounding similar to Skillibeng.
Skillibeng let Winford know that Rytikal was a part of his camp and people should keep listening to the two artists to identify the difference.
In closing off, Skillibeng was asked as to the direction he is taking his music which he responded to by letting Winford Williams know that he is focusing on quality and leveling up with each release.

Skillibeng mentioned that he is getting himself ready for anything that comes, he does not have children but he is preparing so that in the case it happens he can be a good father.
