More Calls for Trump’s Removal or Impeachment After the Chaos in the Capital
US President Donald Trump is facing the threat of a second impeachment, days, after the U.S. Capitol was breached by his supporters in an assault on the American democracy as President-elect Joe Biden’s victory, was being certified in Congress.
Trump came closer than he ever has to a formal concession, as many democratic leaders called for a transition, he acknowledged that a new administration would be sworn in on January 20 and he also vowed to ensure that the transition is smooth, in a release on Thursday evening in a video.
Wednesday’s violence was condemned by Mr. Trump, he said rioters defiled the seat of American democracy and they must be held accountable.

Trump had told supporters that he and his party loved them. You’re very special, and he urged them to go home after they broke into the Capitol.
On Thursday, the president said he and his team just went through an intense election, and emotions are now high, but now tempers should be cooled so that calm can be restored.
He also said it was time to get back to the business of running America.
This was seen as a statement that was strange coming from Trump, as he was always saying the election was a wide spread fraud before.
Michelle Obama and others stated that Black Lives Matter protesters were treated very bad when compared to trump supporters who went further in their protest but receives less punishment.
