Main Suspect in Portmore Double Murder Killed by Cops

The man whose suspected to be the trigger man behind the valentines day double murder in Portmore is currently on ice, after he was shot and killed at the Portmore Mall on March 4th.

According to reports from the Jamaica Star, Oneil Ford was confronted in the mall by law enforcers who got information on where he was located, the police tried to apprehend Ford however he pulled a weapon after which the police opened fire hitting him fatally.

According to Acting Senior Superintendent, Paul Thomas, head of the Major Investigations Division, Ford was also wanted for another murder and became a person of interest in recent times.

“We also found evidence that can further assist us with the investigation of the coach and female, who were killed between the 14th and 15th of February,” Paul Thomas told the Jamaica Star.

The mall where Ford was shot and killed is located just metres from where the double killings were carried out along Dyke Road, both bodies were found in a open lot beside a Honda car.

Sadly the female victim who was 19-year-old Rahima Edwards’ mother passed the scene the morning not knowing her daughter was killed and apart of the crime scene.

The other victim, was 38 year old Nicholas Neufville, a former athlete turn coach of the Calabar high school.

Both were said to be in a relationship.

It’s uncertain what was the motive for the killings.
