September 1st to 30, is a very important time for musicians and artistes who already have an album released this year since the time frame is what is usually given for them to have their body of work submitted for a Grammy consideration.

Already this year, several Jamaican artistes such as Sean Paul, Spice, Alkaline, Vybz Kartel, Jesse Royal, I-Octane, Charly Black, Bugle, Etana, Usain Bolt and his business partner Nugent ‘NJ’ Walker has released albums and with the window of Grammy opportunity open right now, it is safe to assume that many of them have made their submissions already.

One thing is for sure, Usain Bolt is not missing out on the golden chance, as it was seen where just a few days after the release of his “Country Yutes” album, he signed up to be a member of the body that deals with awarding prestigious musicians annually and even spoke to Grammy.com about his aspirations of getting one of the immaculate music trophies.

Earlier this year, the legendary sprinter made it clear that getting a Grammy was one of the things on his agenda. To start the process of making his dreams real, Bolt worked assiduously with ‘NJ’, to create a finished product that would be in high demand and so the team of A-team lifestyle creatives debuted on the Reggae Billboard, gaining more real sales than Spice, Vybz Kartel and Alkaline whose projects were well pronounced to many music lovers.

With that achievement, it is now more than just a dream that Usain Bolt and his team are living, as he looks towards getting ‘Country Yutes’ to a stage of outperforming the other albums, and eventually being nominated to be a potential recipient of the Grammy.

The date set aside for the 64th staging of the Grammy Awards is January 31, 2022, and will take place in Los Angeles at the Staples Center.

The double sprint world record holder might just also be laughing at dancehall artiste Popcaan, who earlier this year bashed Bolt for a song he released with NJ, telling him to give more talented youths the opportunity.
