The latest news from the Klansman trial that is underway in the Home Circuit Court which is located in Downtown Kingston is that incarcerated dancehall star Vybz Kartel gave three different orders to have persons killed by members of the Klansman gang, one of the hits included an entertainer.
The revelation was made today by the second state witness in the much talked about Klansman trial which includes reputed One Don Gang leader Andre Bryan of the Klansman gang and 32 other alleged gang members who are being tried on an indictment with 25 counts under the Criminal Justice (Suppression of Criminal Organizations) Act and the Firearms Act, to which they have pleaded not guilty.
The witness detailed that Vybz Kartel gave orders for multiple murders which resulted in two persons being killed in Waterford Portmore, he also outlined that an attempt was made on an entertainer’s life but that attempt failed, “this instruction was given to me by Vybz Kartel by phone” he stated while addressing the court from a private location.
The name of the artiste who Vybz Kartel reportedly placed a hit on was not revealed today, however, the internet is buzzing and many persons are suspecting the artiste to be Popcaan with Jamaican Youtuber Sir. P months ago claimed that Vybz Kartel tried to get Popcaan killed in the past in Portmore, something that Popcaan seemingly did not believe at the time as he rubbished the claims online.
Now it would appear that Popcaan is seeing things differently, since the statement in court earlier today, the Unruly Boss who is currently in Africa posted two statements on his IG status about fake friends. He posted a video clip of his “Family” song with the lines, “yeah mi know fi a fact a nuh everyman real” and another clip from his song titled “Silence”, “suh haad fi trust yo enemy so haad fi trust yo friend,” he sings. Popcaan also made sure to tell persons to stop tagging him in the news stories.
Earlier today the same witness also told the court that he and gang leader Blackman visited entertainer I-octane on several occasions at a studio located on Dunrobin Avenue in St. Andrew.

The witness also testified that Blackman told him to go and check on one of Kartel’s video shoots that was taking place on McKinley Crescent in St. Andrew, to make sure the artiste was secure.

The witness who has been testifying since last Wednesday from a private location also disclosed that he approached the police investigators back in 2018 to put an end to the gang’s operations.
