5-Year-Old Student Attacks Teacher Putting Her In Stretcher

A teacher from Pines Lakes Elementary in Pembroke Pines, Florida, was attacked by a 5-year-old student and had to be removed from the classroom in a stretcher and later hospitalized.

The report of the incident by Pembroke Pines Police Department and News 6 partner WPLG Local 10 stated that shortly after 10:00 a.m on Wednesday, March 2, the student was in the “Cool Down” room after he and a 4-year-old began throwing items around and flipping chairs. During his time in the room, the student threw a tantrum and used his fists and feet to hit his teacher.

An officer was alerted and went to the classroom, which is when the officer found the teacher sitting on the ground and leaning against the wall. After the beating, the female teacher was feeling “faint”, “weak and dazed” and shortly after she began coughing and dry heaving.

Reportedly, Fire Rescue personnel had to use a stretcher to remove the teacher from the classroom and then transport her to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.

According to reports, the 5-year-old student is facing a charge of aggravated assault with hands, fists, and feet.
