Fitzroy ‘Bunny Diamond’ Dies, Days After Tabby
With the wound from Tabby Diamond’s death still fresh, the Mighty Diamonds are once again rocked with more grief over the loss of the second member of the group Fitzroy ‘Bunny Diamond’ Simpson.
It has only been a few days since the horrific murder of Donald ‘Tabby Diamond’ Shaw, who was the lead singer of the iconic reggae group and, in less than a week, Bunny Diamond died Friday morning after battling diabetes for a long time and even suffering a stroke.
Simpson’s wife announced in 2015 that he had a minor stroke on October 26, while driving in Kingston.
Following Simpson’s unexpected death the chairman of The Jamaica Association of Vintage Artistes and Affiliates (JAVAA) released a statement saying, “I can’t deal with this…it’s tough. The second one of the Mighty Diamonds to pass away in four days.”

While Fitzroy ‘Bunny’ Simpson and ‘Lloyd’ Judge Ferguson were the harmonies.
