Briana Williams And Sha’Carri Richardson Set To Face Off At The USATF NYC Grand Prix On Sunday
On Sunday, June 12, American sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson will compete against fellow track and field rivals, double Olympic champion, Gabby Thomas and Olympic relay gold medalist, Briana Williams at the USATF NYC Grand Prix.
Williams is improving on her performance on the tracks as seen by her performance on June 4 at the fourth JAAA/SDF meet held at Jamaica College’s Ashenheim stadium when the Jamaican sprinter won the women’s 100m with a personal best of 10.97 seconds.
However, at the recent Prefontaine Classic at Hayward Field in Eugene, Williams competed against Richardson and came in eighth place, while Richardson clocked a time of 10.92 seconds behind Jamaican Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah who won with a season’s best of time 10.79 seconds.
