Briana Williams Clocks 60 M Personal Best At World Athletics Indoor Championship

Jamaican female sprinter Briana Williams is certainly in the driving seat at this time, not because she recently bought her dream car but all due to her performance this Friday at the World Athletics Indoor Championship.

Williams took to her marks in heat 6 of the women’s 60 M race where she ran and clocked a personal best of 7.06 seconds to get the second-fastest qualifying time going Into the semi-finals.

ZJ Sparks, who is also a popular social media figure, posted a video on her Instagram page showing the very fast race, and how Briana dominated the track from the starting of the race to its finish.

The semi-finals of the women’s 60 m sprint race will feature Williams going up against some of the fastest women in the world and if she gets placed in a race with Mikiah Brisco of the United States it will be very interesting since she has been a favourite because of her clocking 7.03 seconds which was the fastest time in the heats.

Other great athletes who have progressed to the Semifinals are Ewa Swoboda, Shericka Jackson and Marybeth Sant-Price which makes the showdown one to be looking out for.

All in all congratulations to Briana Williams since her time of 7.06 is a great improvement on the 7.15 she had run at the Queens Grace Jackson meet held in Jamaica in the year 2020.
