PM Holness Celebrates 50th Birthday
Prime Minister Andrew Holness took some time out of his busy schedule Friday to stop and celebrate the golden jubilee of his birth with his family.
Prime Minister Holness, who is the youngest to ever be elected to serve in the office, celebrated his 50th birthday with his wife Juliet Holness and sons Mathew and Adam earlier today. The Prime Minister and his wife Juliet married in 1997, and just two days after wishing her husband a happy 25th anniversary, she once again took to her Instagram page and wished him a happy 50th.
“Today marks 50 years of a life built on dreams. Half a century of a life dedicated to this great nation and to uplifting others in selfless service.” Wrote Juliet Holness, and she continued by saying:
“Have a happy birthday my love, and though the work is far from over, take a moment, at least for today, to smell the roses and reflect on this beautiful thing called life and its many blessings. We love you!”
Jamaica’s first lady went on to share a few photos of the PM’s intimate birthday celebrations with their family on the special occasion.
The Prime Minister later thanked supporters for their good wishes and expressed his gratitude for being afforded the honour to serve as PM.
“I am humbled and grateful to God for allowing me to celebrate 50 years of life, 27 of which I have spent in service to my country,” the Prime Minister said.
