Boyfriend Murdered at Girlfriend’s House in Negril
What was supposed to be a usual romantic rendezvous quickly turned tragic on Tuesday night in a place called Little Haiti, Negril when a man was ambushed and killed while visiting his spouses’ home.
In an ongoing investigation, the Jamaica Observer reported that the deceased male was identified as 43-year-old Gerald Browner. It was additionally reported that Browner also has a Negril address (Red Ground).
The girlfriend of the victim told the investigating officers that she had stepped outside to speak to her mother, who occupies a room at the back of the apartment. Shortly after the girlfriend left the space, she recalled being startled by the sound of explosions that seemed to be gunshots coming from the room that Browner was occupying.
Reports state that Browner’s girlfriend waited until the gunshots stopped before emerging. She cautiously entered the room, where Browner was found suffering from what seemed to be gunshot wounds to the head and torso.
