10Tik went as far as to name several heavyweights of Jamaican music whom he is prepared to take on in a lyrical confrontation via recorded audio. The list includes Mavado, Vybz Kartel, Barrington Levy, George Nooks, Busy Signal, Alkaline, ‘Flopcaan’ (Popcaan), etc. “We dog nuh response who waa start the drama that we love,” 10Tik sang out impromptu to show that he was in the mood for a musical battle.
As he continued down the war path he was on, 10Tik called out some of the dancehall artistes who he says want to ‘fren out the music’. It’s no secret that dancehall has a culture of clash and lyrical feuds, a trend that has been a constant throughout the existence of the popular genre.
“Fren, fren out the music too much dawg, a wah happen to some man dawg, done born wid me fren dem and grow wid me fren dem already enuh, from you touch me or f**k around or call me name you just a get f**k up a just deh so it deh we nuh give a f**k a who we nuh care a who,” 10Tik outlined.
