France Smash Gibraltar 14-0 in Record-Setting Win
On Saturday, November 18, France demolished 10-man Gibraltar during their European Championship 2024 qualifier football game. The one-sided match ended with France scoring 14 goals while their opponent Gibraltar was unable to find the back of the net.
This victory is now the biggest in European Championship qualifying history. Star player Kylian Mbappe scored three goals(hat-trick) the most of any player on the field.
The previous biggest victory in European international football as it relates to World Cup or European Championship qualifying matches was Germany’s 13-0 stamping of San Marino, almost two decades ago, back in 2006.
