After being unable to play at 7 PM on Friday night due to heavy rainfall, Jamaica vs Canada in the Concacaf Nations League will kick off at 10:30 AM, November 18 at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.
On Friday night, several videos were shared online showing the field partially covered in water while the track around the field was covered in water.
After much speculation as to whether or not the match will be played over two legs due to the inclement weather affecting the island, the Jamaica Football Federation took to social media early Saturday morning to inform the public that the postponed match will go on in a few hours’ time.
A picture was also shared, showing a seemingly dried field, and improved weather conditions, including sunlight on the field.
