An unauthorised aeroplane carrying 218 Indians and Uzbeks landed in Jamaica on Thursday. A report detailed that the plane, a white and blue Airbus A340, is a chartered flight registered in Germany.
Despite lacking the necessary approval to enter Jamaica and failing to disclose its arrival in Jamaica, the flight was allowed to land at the Norman Manley International Airport with permission from civil aviation officials.
The plane is currently impounded at the airport. However, the passengers were observed freely roaming about Downtown Kingston on Sunday, enjoying the scenery without supervision.
An investigation has since been launched into the flight.
