Nissan GTR Crashes While Speeding at Street Event In Jamaica – Watch Video

A video surfaced Monday morning, showing a white Nissan GTR speeding along a road, seemingly in Kingston during a street event involving fast cars.
In the video, many people are gathered along the street side, observing what appears to be a race or a ‘show of speed moment’.
The Nissan GTR swerved around a corner and overtook a car, however, made a sudden left turn right after and then slammed into the walking area located to the left of the road.
This accident happened less than two weeks after a news report went viral about illegal street races on the island.

Additionally, a photo of the wrecked vehicle was also shared online, showing the front of the car suffering most of the damage and a policeman at the scene.
Illegal drag racing is becoming a significant issue in Jamaica, attracting hundreds of spectators at different locations. TVJ reporter Giovanni Dennis reported on illegal street racing earlier this month and became the victim of threats and abuse.
The Press Association of Jamaica (PAJ) condemned the threats and abuse against Giovanni Dennis. The matter was reported to the police and is being investigated by the Cyber Crimes Unit of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
