Spice Calls Out Red Rat “Everybody wah bring me dung!”

Red Rat is the latest Dancehall personality to get a verbal lashing from the Queen of Dancehall, Spice. Spice’s rant comes on the heels of Red Rat stating that he released a ‘Cowboy’ themed Dancehall song over 15 years ago and Spice now has a similar song.
After releasing her Country/Cowboy themed song, many of her fans dubbed her the first to make a successful song of the kind. However, multiple Dancehall artistes have come forward to dismiss the notion that Grace Latoya Hamilton better known as Spice is the first to make the move in Dancehall.
In a DM sent to Mouta Massi, Red Rat pointed out that Spice’s new ‘Cowboy’ themed release has “Same melody” as his old song, however instead of saying she stole his style, he stated, “Great artists think alike… ???,” as shown below:

Interestingly, on Thursday, Spice shared a post, highlighting that she would have told her younger self to reply to critics less, however, it would appear that she’s not taking her own advice or that advice is not valid in her career now.
Spice went live to talk on the matter and also refreshed her fans’ memory that she did a Dancehall song that had Cowboy-themed lyrics, “a long time mi a song bout horse,” she stated. In a low-toned voice, Spice states, “Red Rat is never you do it first… Red Rat yuh cudda call mi.”
“Red Rat you said you did it first and i already proved to yuh, neva yuh did it first… mi ago show you seh this is not the first mi ago duh a song we mix with Country.” She went on to declare that Red Rat started the saga and she did not initiate the saga because she’s a fan of the artiste.
According to Spice, veteran Dancehall/Reggae artiste Josey Wales is the first of the genre to do so or at least he did it before Red Rat.
