Burna Boy Called Out Again! “Burna Boy dem nuh have nuh manners”
African giant Burna Boy has been in the spotlight locally in recent times for the wrong reasons. At first, he was called out by a member of Steel Pulse, “@burnaboygram and security crew fully disrespected us @steelpulseofficial trying to kick us out of our dressing room so he could have 4 dressing rooms for his massive entourage.“
Following that statement, Nigy Boy‘s manager Dr. Love went live on Instagram to share his similar encounter with the artiste’s crew. Notably, Burna Boy was mentioned to be present during the ordeals, however, the accusers are placing him at the centre of the bad experiences.
After highlighting the reported issue with Steel Pulse, Dr. Love recounts his experience with Burna Boy’s team, “Both Burna Boy and him team, they are very disrespectful towards people…” he states before going into details about what happened in Guyana recently.
According to the outspoken manager, Nigy Boy went to “the venue” to do a sound check and from the moment Nigy Boy arrived, Burna Boy’s team was doing a sound check, several hours later they still were doing “sound check”.
Dr. Love stated that the crew also ordered KFC, ate and returned to sound check, hence Nigy Boy was unable to get a sound check in and as a result left the venue, “we leave the venue… we don’t have time for this”.
“Guyana a Nigy place, like the youth own Guyana,” he outlined before detailing that Nigy Boy “shell di place” during his performance, “People dem love the performance and all a that”.
“We done and we deh back stage,” states Dr. Love who also stated that Skeng, Jahshii, Chronic Law amongst others were present backstage when they were told by Burna Boy’s security personnel that they must remove themselves from backstage.
According to Dr. Love, he had to tell Burna Boy’s mother and sister that “we not leaving… no wi nah lef… tell dem fi come put we out a yah suh”. The manager went on to state that Burna Boy did not get a warm reception in Guyana because “the bredda is arrogant and the whole team is arrogant… Burna Boy dem nuh have nuh manners”.
