Veteran Dancehall artiste Mr. Vegas does not believe Spice’s recent interview with The Fix was genuine, he thinks it was done solely to promote her upcoming album which he believes won’t do so well.

In a new live chat, the ‘Heads High‘ artiste took aim at Spice and her ‘besties’ supports who always attack him online via harsh comments. “Spice affi understand seh.. Dancehall music it comes,” with criticisms and a lot more, “you have to always train your self to be a victim… yuh cah inna Dancehall cah accept criticism”.

Vegas next calls on Spice to stand on her deeds and not cry foul when people retaliate and attack her. “Yo reveal to the world now seh the little things that people are saying is bothering you,” he states that with the fact that she disrespected someone publicity on camera, “people are going to react”.

Bob Marley had to go down to RJR to beat up people becau they wanted to ban him,” states Mr. Vegas at one point. He also recalled being “clown” on The Fix but he would not have done what Spice did. According to Mr. Vegas, Spice should not have gotten so upset over the reaction to Beyonce’s comparison, because she’s not in Beyonce’s league.

Mr. Vegas also pointed out that The Fix hosts in particular “Naro” are very disrespectful, “he can be very provocative,” he went on to express that the co-host Ari is trying to be like Naro. In that vein, Vegas states that he can understand if someone tells them about their mother but not to the lengths that Spice did.

He says he notices that they “look down pan artiste” because most Dancehall artistes they deal with are not as educated and intelligent as they are. With that said, Vegas states that he still doesn’t get why Spice had to diss them in that particular way, “creating a space fi tell dem bout them madda”.

“A wuleep a thinking a person affi put into the way how Spice did tell him bout him madda, a that mi neva understand and after the interview mi still nuh understand it,” he states before expressing that he believes the new interview was only done because Spice has an upcoming album.

According to Mr. Vegas, from now on “them cah be themself” as it relates to Spice, detailing that the hosts won’t be able to review Spice’s upcoming ‘Mirror 25‘ album honestly in fear of another fallout. “Dem come een like when Jaii Frais talk a bag a things bout Shenseea and when him sidung in front a Shenseea him couldn’t talk weh him a seh or weh him really feel”.

“Him become a groupie, he just became a groupie fi Shenseea… Him feel like him in a moment, him have the queen sitting right across from him.. suh him couldn’t be himself… is that a the thing enuh, dem cah be themselves.”

He concluded by outlining that it’s not right for someone to invite another to an event just to diss the person. According to Mr. Vegas, Spice should have apologised right after her surgery situation and not waited until she is about to release an album.
