Koffee August 2024 Interview: Says “New album coming out soon”: Video

Jamaican Reggae artiste Mikayla Victoria Simpson who is more commonly known as Koffee performed in the UK recently and after her performance, she did an interview in which she revealed that she will be releasing her next album soon.
The 24 year old Spanish Town native performed at Reggae Land 2024 on Sunday the 4th of August 2024, after her performance, she chat with DJ 745 of Reggae Interviews in which she stated, “i have a new album coming out soon,” after being asked about new music.
Koffee who has visibly gotten bulkier when compared to her more slim figure years ago, was also asked about ‘release schedule’, and early 2025 was put to her to which she stated, “i think that would be ideal… we can say that.”
koffee also talked on “pressure” being put on her after becoming the youngest Jamaican and only woman to win a Reggae Grammy award. “I dont think i accept the pressure but naturally yuh kinda would because you want to keep the standard and meet people’s expectations because music is a service,” she detailed.
The Grammy winning artiste has so far released two albums, Rapture in 2019 and Gifted in 2022. She has not uploaded any new music on her YouTube channel since her album release in 2022. Similar to Chronixx, Reggae fans have been asking for new music from Koffee for a while now.
