Jamaica Wins 5 of 6 Matches at Pan Continental Curling Championships: Plays Puerto Rico Next

Jamaica is competing in the B-Division of the third edition of the Pan Continental Curling Championships which is on the way in Lacombe, Canada after kicking off on the 26th of October 2024.
The island started off the competition with a win against Asian team Kazakhstan and went on to secure a 4-game winning streak.
At the moment, Jamaica sits in the second position of the B-Division table for men. Jamaica’s next game will be against fellow Caribbean team Puerto Rico on Tuesday, October 29.
Game 1 was against Kazakhstan (W)
Game 2 was against Hong Kong (W)
Game 3 was against Kenya (W)
Game 4 was against Brazil (W)
Game 5 was against India (L)
Game 6 was against Saudi Arabia (W)

Team member Luke Samuels told Yardhype, “If we win B division we will go to A division next year. We are hustling thinking a game at a time though.”
As per worldcurling.org, “The championships are for men’s and women’s teams from World Curling’s Americas and Pacific-Asia zones and is used as a qualification event for the World Men’s and World Women’s championships. This event consists of an A- and B-Division.”
The championships will end on the 2nd of November 2024.
