The official music video for Malie Donn‘s song titled ‘Don Julio’ premiered on Friday, showing a visual display of what it’s like living the star life of an in-demand Dancehall artiste.
The track was released via VPAL Music and produced by Dan Sky and Attomatic. It is a taste of his Grand Rising EP which will feature collaborations with Squash, Armanii, and Byron Messia.
Most of the music video was shot in the streets of New York, Time-Square to be exact.
Some lyrics, “Don Julio wi lifestyle come like a movie show, gal inna French cut inna pool enuh… 21 and mi dunce like bat, empty pan and mi love buy glock.”
The title ‘Don Julio’ pays homage to the tequila brand that has surged in popularity across the U.S., often mentioned by artists like Drake and Travis Scott, making it a staple in hip-hop and youth culture.
