Sexyy Red took to social media on Wednesday to clear up rumours following a viral video from her appearance on Kai Cenat’s livestream.
The clip, which sparked speculation, showed the rapper fiddling with something in her hands and bringing it close to her face, leading many fans to believe she was indulging in cocaine.
In response, Sexyy Red quickly set the record straight on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “I definitely was rollin ah wood.”
The phrase “rollin’ a wood” refers to rolling a blunt, a common term in hip-hop culture for preparing marijuana for smoking.
As per reports, the incident occurred during a magic trick performed by illusionist Max Major on the livestream, where she briefly stepped out of the main room and seemingly did not know that she was still on camera.
Many fans came to her defense, arguing that Sexyy Red, known for her outspoken personality, would have been upfront if she was using something more serious.
One user pointed out, “We have all known Sexyy Red long enough to know that if it was coke she would say it was coke lol.”
Another comment echoed support, explaining that people unfamiliar with the term “wood” were likely the ones jumping to conclusions.
