“He was talking about devil and possession,” said a witness aboard an American Airlines flight who saw an estranged man approached and punched at attendants after claiming he was followed by demons onto the flight.
The man, identified as Medjina Augustin was accompanied by his sister who also claimed that demons are trying to stop them from going to Haiti. She detailed that her brother’s outburst was justified because “he hurts evil.”
Furthermore, during the ordeal, Augustin swallowed rosary beads as he seeks to gain strength in what he deems a “spiritual warfare.”
Augustin told the person on the flight that he was heading to Haiti to “flee religious attacks of a spiritual nature.”
The flight which left Savannah, Georgia, was destined for Miami, Florida, however, it had to make a u-turn and return to the airport from which it took off from.
