A Disagreement Over A Bottle Of Water Leaves Man Dead In St. Ann

Earlier today Monday, July 4th at around 1: 00 pm, a fatal incident occurred in St. Ann’s Bay on Cemetery Road in St. Ann.
The incident as reported by the Jamaica Observer on their Instagram account had to do with a disagreement that ensued because of a bottle of water. The argument ended with one man dead and another in the hands of the police.
Sources from Jamaica Observer online relay that a man in his thirties was at his workplace, The Santa Gloria restaurant, when he got into a squabble with a deliveryman who had come by to deliver food.
Allegedly, the deliveryman inflicted an injury via knife wound to the neck of the restaurant employee before he beat a hasty retreat. He was later on captured by the police and investigations into the matter are underway.
Comments on the Instagram post show that individuals are extremely concerned about the increasing amounts of deaths taking place in the country. One commenter shows such concern by stating “Everybody tun killer now wow……. Jamaica we inna trouble enuh,” while another says, “Life has no value these days, conflicts aren’t peacefully resolved anymore…… Everybody head hot. Smh. You can’t even make a comment without someone attacking your opinion. Sad world jah jah 😢😢😢😢”.
