After 11 years , Jade Walks Away From Zip Fm

[Sharingbuttons]”Change is a necessary part of life” Jade, whose given name is Jadeen McGhie said. As she walked away from her position as a newscaster and producer at Zip Fm after being in the position for 11 years.

She has decided to tender her resignation and continue on her journey, so she can embrace new opportunities. However she thanks the listening public and the entire Zip Fm, Grove Broadcasting team for the lessons learnt and the invaluable experience she had along the way.

She will be missed, as she was instrumental in shaping the sound and image of Zip Fm with her vast knowledge base relating to news and entertainment added to her ability to entertain. Zip Fm had become one of the top radio stations on the island because of her.

She said it was with a heavy heart she decided to move on, and when she was asked about her next move, she didn’t reveal anything about her plans, she only said all would be revealed in due course.

Her vivacious and yet calming voice will be badly missed, her resignation came as a very big shock to many of her colleagues, as they know it will be quite a task to find someone who is just as talented, to be a replacement for her.
