Sheldon Aitana Ricardo Lawrence more popularly known as Aidonia was left infuriated after witnessing the Jamaican Men’s senior football team lose a game that they could have won or at least gained a point from on Saturday night.
It was a tightly contested match, Jamaica faced a narrow 0-1 defeat against Mexico in the Copa America tournament. Notably, the Reggae Boyz went a goal behind after making three changes in the second half.
Aidonia took to social media to point out that it was the “Change”, especially to the backline that cost the Boyz the match. In an IG story, he wrote, “Coach and him Change f**kkkkkk the match!”
From the outset, Jamaica demonstrated a solid defensive structure, effectively nullifying several of Mexico’s early advances. The Reggae Boyz, known for their physicality and speed, managed to create a few counter-attacking opportunities.
The Jamaicans found the net first in the second half, however, that goal was ruled offside by VAR, another decision of the match that Aidonia was not happy with.
The decisive moment came in the 67th minute when Mexico’s player Gerardo Arteaga, found the back of the net to Aidonia and many Jamaicans’ dismay.
Aidonia in his rant also pointed out that Jamaica‘s teenage player Kaheim Dixon came on and improved the style of play, he argued that the young player shouted have got more minutes, “Unuh a wul dung balla..”
He continued, “Couch yuh a move like yuh a big bomboc***t idiot… stop wul dung the bombocl**t youth dem and a play some idiot humbre.” His protege, Govana was also present, watching the match, seemingly drinking water.
He also mentioned that Renaldo Cephas should have been on the field earlier in the video below
Earlier coach Heimir Hallgrimsson stated that this match was an opportunity to make history as they compete in Group B, alongside Mexico, Ecuador, and Venezuela. Jamaica have lost all seven matches they have played in the Copa America over three different tournaments.

This article? Hmm. Not bad, I guess. You’ve got some interesting ideas floating around in there. Kinda scrapes the surface on a few things. Might want to dig a bit deeper next time, you know? But hey, at least you’re thinking outside the box. That’s something. Your writing style’s alright. Gets the point across, more or less. Could use a bit more oomph in places, if you ask me. And those examples? They’re okay, I suppose. Might want to spice ’em up a notch. Look, I’m not saying it’s terrible or anything. It’s just… there’s room for improvement, you feel me? Maybe tighten up those arguments, throw in some more hard-hitting facts. You’ve got potential, kid. Just need to push it a bit further.Anyway, keep at it. Who knows? Your next piece might just knock my socks off. Or not. We’ll see.
