Antigua and Barbuda have registered 9 cases of COVID-19

In light of the COVID 19 pandemic Antigua and Barbuda have registered 9 cases as of March 23, 2020. All three cases are imported. Whilst there is no evidence of community spread the country has imposed a State of Emergency.

The 24 hour curfew will run from Thursday, April 2, 2020 (immediately after mid -night) to Thursday, April 9, 2020. (Mid-night). This will be reviewed and may be extended if seen necessary.

There should be no movement for non-essential workers. Only two occupants will be allowed in private vehicles. The 6 feet social distancing is still in effect for all essential workers.

All non-essential workers are confined to their places of residence during the 24 hrs lockdown. The government will review this protocol with the Ministry of Health and Wellness. Stay tuned to Yardhype for more details.
