Beenie Man Confronts DJ Ruxie At Party

Beenie Man has made it abundantly clear that he does not care to hear certain dancehall music of the younger generation, and he has confronted another selector for playing music that he couldn’t “wull a vibe” to.
Beenie Man, also popularly called Moses, recently attended DJ Ruxie’s Fantasy Wednesdays event, and, after hearing what the selector had to play, he stopped the party to confront DJ Ruxie.
“Everybody can dance but a nu everybody a dancer. People wah hear music… We come yah so fi wull a vibe, me is not a dancer, just look pan mi. Me just come yah so fi hear some music and mi a hear all a e music weh di dancer dem a dance to, non a dem nu deh yah. A we deh yah. Play fi we please,” Beenie Man begged.
When Ruxie was handed back the microphone, he explained that he had to support the youths.
“Moses, every song weh mi play yah suh the artiste dem in yah. Yeah you might nu know dem but dem young, zeen. Yeah so we affi gi dem dah strength yah from now,” DJ Ruxie stated.
