Bounty Killer and Beanie were the next superstar combatants on the popular online series verzuz. Verzuz is a series of online battles with the biggest names in music amid the coronavirus crisis that has caused stagnation and a lack of good entertainment worldwide.
There was a face-off between the two veteran dancehall artists on Saturday, May 23, during the Memorial Day weekend.
The clash turned out to be bigger than what was expected with international reggae and dancehall fans tuning in.
The online show had persons wishing that they were from Jamaica. Verzuz show was covered by major online platforms such as Billboard, CNN, BET, VIBE, Revolt and many others.
The show was also number one trending on Instagram, Twitter and several other social media platforms.

These two veterans have constantly clashed at the height of their careers in the 1990s and early 2000s, before closing the gap in recent years.
Busta Rymes reportedly stated that Dancehall birth HipHop after watching the clash.

The whole concept of Verzuz was brought to life by hip hop stars Timbaland and Swizz Beatz in March after the two used a series of Instagram posts to challenge themselves. The super producers decided it will be nice to use the Instagram Live as the battlefield.
