American rapper Cardi B was reportedly booked by WP Touring Inc. to perform on Friday night to a crowd of 400 for 35 minutes for a payment of 1 million at The Art Basel in Miami, Florida.
This event is a premier for-profit art show that is privately owned and managed. It occurs annually and is a leading global platform connecting high-valued pieces from famous collectors, galleries, and artists.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper showed receipts in a post on Twitter, which seemingly sought to highlight her worth in Hip-Hop and confirm the whopping figure that was paid to her at the event. “I got paid 1 million dollars to perform at this elite bankers event private event for 400 people and only for 35 minutes ……THINK ABOUT THAT WHEN YOU TYPE ABOUT THIS GRAMMY WINNER,” she tweeted.
