Chinese Man Beaten with Hammer in Manchester: Video

A male Chinese supermarket operator in Christiana, Manchester was attacked by a male said to be of unsound mind wheeling a hammer and the entire ordeal was caught on camera. The attack took place hours after the two had a physical altercation.

Initially, the two men were involved in a tussle after the estranged Jamaican male was accused of shoplifting.

Footage shows the estranged man at one point being accosted by another male and the Chinese man at the entrance of the Waves supermarket, he was also pushed to the ground by the Chinese man who sat on top of him at one point.

Follow up footage captured hours later shows the Chinese man walking into the supermarket unbeknown to what’s behind him. Suddenly, an estranged man believed to be the alleged shoplifter from earlier can be seen quickly running up to the Chinese man and striking him several times on the upper back.

The hefty blows caused the Chinese man to fall to the floor, followed by the attacker running away from the scene. The incident took place shortly after midday on Wednesday.

The police know the identity of the hammer wheeling man, however, he is yet to be located.
